CAMP LANGO! Mandarin Summer Camp July 4, 2011

CAMP LANGO! at the Commons Brooklyn: This July, give your kids a chance to learn a language and travel the world without going far from their own backyard. Camp Lango is the perfect opportunity for your kids to learn Mandarin…and have fun while doing it. At Camp Lango, kids ages 3 – 7 learn Mandarin through Lango’s Graduated Immersion© approach. Here a typical day at camp transforms to a fun way to learn. All without leaving Brooklyn, kids gain insight about Chinese culture through Chinese arts and crafts, Chinese dance, drama, Chinese calligraphy, cooking, Chinese math, singing, and games. The camp runs in two sessions:
July 5 – July 15, a preschool camp for 3 - 4 year olds at $1035 AND
July 18 – 29, an early-elementary camp for 5 - 7 year olds at $1150.
Cost for both sessions includes admissions, snacks twice a day, camp t-shirt, field trip and transportation.

Camp Lango will take place at the Commons Brooklyn at 388 Atlantic Avenue in Boerum Hill. Helen Huang, who runs Mandarin programs at Poly Prep and the Village Community School, will run the camp.
