Camera Club of Los Altos Monthly Meeting June 17, 2010

Our June meeting will be Thursday, June 17th with a digital competition with categories in General A, General B, Monochrome and the special category - Photojournalism. Our judge will be Rick E. Martin, www.rickemartinphoto.com.

He is a photojournalist with 25 years experience, 17 of them with the San Jose Mercury News. He was awarded a Pulitzer Prize for his work on the 1989 Loma Prieta earthquake. His sweeping range of experience involves everything from spot news and sports to food, wine, business and architecture. His particular love is the outdoors; among other things he has photographed three books on fly-fishing.

Rick is also our guest speaker for the evening. He will be giving a "can't miss", informative talk on photojournalism. Want to improve your photography? Make sure you make it to this meeting, which is open to the public at no charge.
