Gallery TPW, Images Festival and New Media Scotland are pleased to co-present the North American premiere of work by Scottish artist Calum Stirling. Stirling is best known for his sound based work and sculptural installations employing adapted media, DIY aesthetics and the poetic misuse of technology. Continuing his exploration of sound, object and representation, Stirling presents One Revolution Per Minute, two intricate installations examining aspects of architecture and sound in micro detail.
Calum Stirling currently lives and works in Glasgow, UK. Widely exhibited, Stirling has previously shown work at the Generali Foundation in Vienna, Transmediale in Berlin, The National Gallery of Australia, The Design Museum in London and the Centre for Contemporary Art in Glasgow.
