The Caltech – Occidental Concert Band, directed by William Bing, will present their annual winter concert at Occidental College on Saturday, February 21, at 7:30 PM, in Thorne Hall.
Featured on this free concert will be the juggling talents of Stephen Bent. Stephen is a senior at Occidental College, and the newest member of the Flying Karamazov Brothers, one of the best known juggling and comedy troupes in the world. Stephen will juggle his way through a medley of music, including For Me and My Gal, Tiger Rag, and Pretty Baby.
Also featured on the program will be french hornist Benjamin Faber, who is a physics major at Caltech.
Other musical selections will include music by Frank Ticheli, Jonathan Newman, and Peter I.Tchaikovsky. The program will conclude with a performance of The Royal Fireworks Music by G. F. Handel.
