This summer New Yorkers and visitors can stock up on organic vegetables and fruits at the Stuy Town Greenmarket starting on Sunday, June 6 and continuing every Sunday through November 14, 2010 from 9:30 a.m. - 4 p.m. at the Stuyvesant Town Oval (south side), at 14th Street between Aves. A & B in Manhattan. In addition to local produce, patrons will find artisanal pickles, fresh fish and seafood, grass fed Angus beef, classic wines from King Ferry Winery, homemade turkey sausage, fine cheeses and organic bread -- all from regional farmers. On opening day, New Yorkers will enjoy live music as they shop for that special ingredient.
Stuy Town's weekly Greenmarket is open to the public, and will feature free family-friendly events throughout the season. For more information visit www.stuytown.com
