Calling All Earthkeepers! Dig It! October 3, 2009

Join Timberland® Earthkeepers® and NYC Parks on Saturday, October 3 for Dig It, a volunteer day in Van Cortlandt Park. Come out and help us paint light posts and benches, ward off graffiti, plant trees, and remove weeds in the Northeast Forest, Indian Fields, and Shandler Recreation Areas.

Timberland® Earthkeepers® started Dig It events as part of their goal to plant one million trees by 2010. And during Dig It at Van Cortlandt Park on Saturday, October 3, Timberland will plant their one millionth tree – one year ahead of schedule! All volunteers will be given a t-shirt, hat, and lunch!
