Call For Artists! The Unscene Photography Tour And Royal/t Announce Unpawsed: A Celebration Of Emerging Pet Photographers May 30, 2009

Calling all pet photographers nationwide. The UnScene Photography Tour and Royal/T, an art exhibition space in Los Angeles, is launching their first-ever national photography contest called UnPawsed to find the next fine art pet photographer.

SUBMIT: Entrants can submit up to 20 photos at unscenetour.com. Submission fee is $25.00. Deadline is May 1, 2009.

The UnScene and Royal/T will choose five finalists and one winning artist will receive his or her own art exhibit in Royal/T’s Pop-up Store for three weeks. The artist will receive an all-expense paid trip to Los Angeles to attend his or her own art opening May 30th during the infamous Culver City Art Walk. The UnScene will also pay for all prints and mounting associated with the exhibit.

UnPawsed is open to any photographer, amateur or professional in the U.S. with a collection of pet images. UnPawsed is not just a single photo contest – it’s a true celebration of an emerging artist with a fresh new style in pet photography.

Proceeds from the sale of the prints will benefit VCA Charities.
