California Guitar Trio and Montreal Guitar Trio October 10, 2012

A set by the CGT is a constantly surprising thing; mixing baroque fugues, surf music, arena rock and cowboy standards with the group’s own interlocking mathematical-puzzle originals, in a way that points out the futility of artistic categories with wry humor and genuinely awesome technique. The Trio will be supercharged into a sextet with the addition of the Montreal Guitar Trio.
