All of L.A. is invited to a night of free contemporary music in one of Pasadena's most upscale louges, hosted by the California College of Music and The Terrace.
Songs to be performed include Michael Jackson’s Beat It, Lady Marmalade from the Moulin Rouge and Malibu by Hole. In addition, the a cappella ensemble, headed by Phillip Ingram, will be performing their rendition of Billy Joel’s For the Longest Time.
The California College of Music mentors musicians and audio engineers for successful careers in the commercial music and recording industry. On September 29th, students will be showcasing their talents that were refined through CCM’s vocal performance workshop, instrumental labs, ear and rhythm training and demo recording sessions.
“To watch them (my students) progress, lets me know that I’m doing my job, that they take what their learning to heart and applying it to their rehearsals, as well as their performance,” said Artist Development chair, Kevin Dorsey.
The Terrace is located on the corner of Los Robles and Colorado. Visit www.ccmcollege.com for more information.
