OBJ Music Theatre was formed by ex-Salford student Katie O'Brien, and participating in the show are a number of Salford music students, past and present.
Caliban's Beach is a dark comedy that uses puppets, live actors and live music to provide an edgy and quirky interpretation of what happens after Prospero finishes his famous epilogue in The Tempest! Prior knowledge of the Shakespeare play is not necessary, as the show works well within its own context with the actors bringing to life the darker, more twisted aspects of the characters and the unexpected twists throughout the plot. Audiences will be thoroughly entertained by the bizarre motives, values and behaviours that each of them portrays.
There will be an additional performance at Linbden Mill, Linden Road, Hebden Bridge, on Sunday, 11 October @ 8pm
