Watching Waste - Our Carbon Footprint!
Our event-day comes with its share of requisite waste — in the form of food/wine packaging, decorations and related event memorabilia, much of which would usually find its home in a landfill. Always foremost on our mind is the CWA's concern for the environment. Our team of CWA volunteers will reduce our Carbon Footprint with food/wine recovery, sharing event materials with other nonprofits and reusing previous years materials. Our chefs, whenever possible, prepare their foods with locally grown ingredients & sourced products. We promote the use and sharing of renewable energy on event day and always invite innovative ideas for further shrinking our carbon footprint. And you thought this was only about the fun… Cheers!

Wine.
We had been up for a wedding in Murphys a couple of years ago. We drove up to Angels Camp for this last year and it was awesome! A total foodie MUST DO !! Murphys is just up the road for a totally cool place to stay - this is a gem of a place to go for the weekend and not too far to drive to. We couldn't believe the name bands they get at Ironstone Vineyards in the summer and the restaurants / tasting rooms in Murphys all in 4 blocks. REMEMBER the zip line, the kids loved it.
