Cake-Off benefit for Abilities United Children's Development Services May 12, 2012

All local bakeries, parents and Abilities United staff, friends and supporters are invited to participate in our exclusive ‘Cake Off’. Cakes must be made/decorated to go with our theme of children’s books. Let your imagination run wild! Tickets to vote for your favorite c...an be purchased before and at the event and then entered in support of what you feel is the best cake. The cake bringing in the most tickets will win an exclusive ‘Abilities United Cake-Off Champion Apron (along with much recognition, cheering and the knowledge that the baker helped support our CDS programs greatly!). Tickets can be bought now in the CDS office, at parent group, and up until the raffle ends at 7:00pm on the day itself for $1 each, $10 for 12, and $20 for 25 tickets.
If snazzy cake decorating is not your style, then you can always donate some simple sweet treats to the event. We will be accepting donations of any cakes, cookies, brownies etc. which you bring along. Donated goodies will then be offered to all attendees to enjoy for a suggested donation.
All the money raised from these goodies AND the cake-off will go to Abilities United’s Children’s Programs!
And because gazing at beautiful cakes isn’t enough, we are making this event a pot-luck - please bring along a dish to share with your Abilities United friends and family. Don’t bring dessert though - there will be plenty of that to go round already!
