Cake creates a diverse mixture of punk sensibility, country and disco. Thanks to such songs as 'The Distance' and the group's cover of Gloria Gaynor's disco classic, 'I Will Survive,' Cake has enjoyed some mainstream success. The Brazilian Girls are not all girls nor Brazilian. The group is comprised of jazz vocalist Sabina Sciubba, keyboardist Didi Gutman, bassist Jesse Murphy and drummer Aaron Johnston. Their eclectic sound mixes electronic, dub and pop elements with sultry bossa nova and high-art style. Agent Ribbons is duo featuring Lauren Hess and Natalie Gordon. This duo plays pop/indie/folk music.
