The Caipirinha Social Club would like to welcome all new & existing members. Our group and friends meet every Friday nights to unwind and socialize with a Caipirinha and to hear the best Brazilian music in the city.

The main objective of this group is to promote the sounds of Brazil, From bossa and soul to batucada and samba, or for those who have an interest or passion for Brazilian Culture and Music.

This Friday we have an Evening not to be missed, please join us on this fantastic night of authentic Forró pé de Serra.

Mulambo Groove hosts authentic forró soiree at Cantina: with favourite pé de serra repertoir from the old times of Gonzagao and Jackson Pandeiro to modern pé de serra composers like Mestre Ambrosio and Maciel Salu plus all inbetweens, Domiginhos, Sivuca, Alceu Valença, Zé Ramalho e Caetano Veloso.

Forró Mulambo is: Porto Brothers; Luciano - accordeon e violao, Marcelo - zabumba e rabeca, Lalo - triangulo plus Annie Lacaille - gongue e ganzá.

Plus we have also Kevin Jones ( DJ Suede ) in the house spinning some real slick funky tunes..and Brazilian Forro music.

Kevin has provided music for some of the best Brazilian parties in Toronto including the infamous Beat Migration.

A fantastic night of Brazilian Forro and Funk music.
