Cage Titans FC presents Carnage (MMA fights) November 5, 2010

On Friday, November 5th Cage Titans Fighting Championship will be putting on its next show entitled 'Carnage' at Lombardo’s in Randolph, MA. The promotion plans on building on the success of its last event ‘Epic’ and looks to bring some more exciting action to the fans once again! They will continue with its popular format of 10 amateur fights for the undercard followed by an intermission and full production, 5 pro-fight main card.

Headlining the event is a grudge match for the 145lb. Featherweight Title between Lee Metcalf (South Shore Sportfighting) and Bill Jones (Team Kaos). These titans clashed in the cage earlier this year, with Metcalf being awarded the win in what some claim controversial fashion as Jones was not permitted to continue in the second round after dominating the first. Some believe that Metcalf grabbed the cage and used it to apply an arm bar, holding onto it after the bell ended the first round. The referee, however, disagreed and awarded Metcalf with a TKO victory. Since then, both teams have had gone back and forth, and both Jones and Metcalf are ready to get back into the cage to decisively determine who is, in fact, the better fighter. Both men are extremely powerful, love to trade and have brutal ground n pound, so expect an epic clash fueled by months of animosity!

As for the Co-Main Event, Barrington “Rude Boy” Douse (American Fight Team) will be back in the Cage Titans’ cage to take on the very talented Joe Cushman (Lauzon MMA). Douse is coming off possibly the biggest win of his career, which he won by choking out jiu-jitsu ace Matt Perry (who just happens to be Cushman’s teammate.) After that unforgettable match it didn’t take long to find his next opponent, as Cushman quickly jumped at the opportunity to avenge Perry’s loss. Both camps are more than motivated to take the win with team pride on the line and a title shot for the winner ensures that both competitors will deliver a “Fight of the Night” performance!
