How do microorganisms survive in extreme conditions? What can their evolution teach us about our search for life on other planets? Discuss with Professor Liane Benning how extremophiles, organisms adapted to live in extreme conditions, and their survival adaptations are being used to inform the search for extra-terrestrial life.
Professor Liane Benning is Professor of Experimental Biogeochemistry at University of Leeds. Her research investigates the biochemical signals of bacteria and fungus in extreme environments.
