Cafe Saint Ex's Ugly Sweater Party December 14, 2011

It's time to dust off those hideously awesome, jingle ball-adorned holiday sweaters.Café Saint-Ex is honoring the sweaters of Christmas past with an Ugly Christmas Sweater Party on Wednesday, December 14 at 8 p.m. It will be just like a scene out of National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation complete with $5 winter beer, Egg Nog and hot cocktail specials, Christmas cookies and treats, tunes from popular local DJ Soul Call Paul, and even a chance to win a $50 Saint-Ex gift card for sporting the ugliest sweater of the night.
Just by donning some unsightly holiday garb, guests can enjoy $5 drink specials on winter brews, Egg Nog cocktails and Saint-Ex's signature Hot Buttered Rum, a warm, boozy concoction of cinnamon, clove and nutmeg spiced butter and Plantation Grand Reserve 5 year Rum. Attendees can nibble on Christmas Cookies courtesy of Pastry Chef Alison Reed, while DJ Soul Call Paul will be spinning soul tunes starting at 10 p.m. through the rest of the night. And the cheesy holiday outfits will pay off: one lucky (and unfortunately dressed) guest will win a $50 Saint-Ex gift card for wearing the ugliest sweater, judged by the Saint-Ex bartenders and DJ and announced at 11 p.m.
