Café Saint-Ex celebrates the 40th anniversary of Earth Day by hosting a neighborhood beautification event for Ross Elementary School students on Friday, April 23 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Approximately 70 Ross students in grades pre-k through second grade will come to Café Saint-Ex to beautify the neighborhood by planting spring flowers in the planter boxes outside of the restaurant, and learn how to make homemade whipped cream and fresh watermelon with a cooking demonstration from Executive Chef Billy Klein.

Café Saint-Ex supports the use of local, sustainable ingredients in almost all of their dishes, and aims to pass on the knowledge of the importance of sustainable, eco-friendly practices to students.
