Cabin Fever Reliever March 10, 2012

The Irons Area Tourist Association will be having their Second Annual “Cabin Fever Reliever” party and Chili cook-off on March 10, 2012 at Skinner Park hall. If you missed it last year, it was a great time so mark your calendars! Not only will you be able to sample some great chili after the judging, at 8pm the band Onager will be rocking out some awesome tunes so you can dance dance dance. If you would like to enter your own marvelous chili, drop off your entry of a full crock pot at the hall no later than 5:45 p.m. Judging will be at 6:00 p.m. We ask that you leave your crockpots until 10:00 p.m. so everyone will get a chance to taste your delicious chili. If you need to leave earlier than that, you may pick it up at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday. We had a great turnout last year and are hoping for even better this year. Again, we will be collecting non-perishable goods to be donated to Irons Union Church. Admission will be $5.00 and 3 nonperishable goods -or- $7.00 per person with no donation. You must bring your own beverages. Alcohol will be allowed for those over 21.
