Millennium Park’s Cabaret with a View series continues in the New Year with the first lady of Chicago theater, Hollis Resnik, singing some of her favorite songs. Presented by Millennium Park, Cabaret with a View brings audiences to the stage of the Jay Pritzker Pavilion to experience music in an intimate setting and a climate controlled environment.
“Hollis Resnik Sings Her Favorite Things” features stories and anecdotes along with music by some of the legends of musical theater, including Noel Coward, Sheldon Harnick, Jerry Herman, Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein, Richard Maltby and David Shire, Stephen Schwartz, Jules Styne and Kurt Weil. Resnik will be joined by Chuck Larkin on piano.

Hollis Resnik has been performing in Chicago and around the country for the past 25 years. Her Chicago credits include her scene stealing performance of The Old Lady in Mary Zimmerman’s recent production of Candide, along with Beard of Avon, A Little Night Music, The House of Martin Guerre and Book of the Night at the Goodman Theatre; and The Little Foxes, An Ideal Husband, Titus Andronicus, The Chairs, La Bête, The Learned Ladies and Man of La Mancha at Court Theatre.
