Cabaret April 21, 2010

Set in 1931 Berlin on the eve of the Nazis' rise to power- a time when political unrest racks the country, the economy has been destroyed, and millions of unemployed roam the streets, this musical focuses on the nightlife at the seedy Kit Kat Klub and revolves around the 19-year-old English cabaret performer Sally Bowles and her relationship with young American writer Cliff Bradshaw. Through the many songs of the Cabaret's Emcee, the audience witnesses the political changes taking place.
