C.V.Chandrasekhar in Nirantara…a journey of music and dance
A double bill with Three Aksha's new production "PRAYOG" a dialogue
between dance and mathematics

The legendary dance exponent Guru Prof. C.V. Chandrasekhar presents
his inspiring solo dance. Nirantara is a blend of the abstract & the
emotional fusion of two major elements, nritta (pure dance) & nritya
(expressive dance) and is a dramatic interpretation of the
juxtaposition & contrast of Bharatanatyam rudiments.

"PRAYOG" features a vibrant 8 member dance ensemble and will explore
the relationship between mathematical and metaphysical elements of
traditional South Indian dance through Bharatanatyam choreography.
This piece also uses basic principles of arithmetic to explore the
bridge between arts and mathematics. It is
presented by Three Aksha Institute.
