Bye Bye Birdie tells the story of Conrad Birdie, a rock and roll singer about to be drafted into the army. But before he leaves his agent (who's having a few romantic problems of his own) plans one last-ditch publicity stunt: Conrad will kiss a typical American teen-age girl from his fan club goodbye, live on the Ed Sullivan Show. The lucky girl chosen is fifteen-year-old Kim MacAfee from Sweet Apple, Ohio. Conrad's arrival in the small town makes more than one man in town uncomfortable, and mayhem ensues. Riotously funny, with the freshness, sparkle and impudence of youth, Bye Bye Birdie is good old fashion fun.
We will be accepting donations for Honor Flight of Northern Colorado.
