For the past 25 years over 25,000 runners and walkers have laced up their shoes to raise over $500,000 for children with Down syndrome. On Sunday, September 25th, Northrop Grumman and Kennedy Krieger will team up once again for the BWI Run/Walk event, which benefits Kennedy Krieger Institute’s Down Syndrome Clinic. The family friendly event features two courses including a 4-Mile Run and a 2-Mile Family Walk; runners and walkers of all ages and abilities are invited to attend and participate. Online team fundraising is also available, allowing participants to form teams, create web pages and raise money from supporters by securing donations online. Please visit http://www.es.northropgrumman.com/airportrun/register.html and click on ‘Register’ to start fundraising today! For more information, please contact 410-993-RUNN (7866) or visit http://events.kennedykrieger.org. With planes on the runway and the runners on the starting line, many things will be soaring that day.
