Whether you are looking for a home to live in, or you are looking for an investment property, you can find some really great deals. There are numerous issues with buying a bank owned (also know as an REO or "real estate owned") property or a short sale, but with knowledge the benefits can outweigh the risks.

Tell me, Kelsie, why would I want to drive SOUTH through Boston after 8 PM to go to Rockland, MA? I live NORTH of Boston ... besides, if the Holiday Inn Boston South were within a couple of minutes drive of Salem, MA, I might consider it ... but according to Yahoo Maps it would take the better part of 70 minutes to drive from Salem to Rockland. That's not "minutes" from Boston, either!!!
