Buy Local Art & Gift Fair December 12, 2009

Spend an enjoyable day at the Kalamazoo Nature Center’s first Buy Local Art & Gift Fair, part of KNC’s 50th Anniversary celebration. We have invited area artists and fair trade vendors to sell their products at this unique one-day event. Find that special gift for everyone on your holiday list and support our community at the same time.
As our gift to you, KNC is offering Free Admission for the day. So join us, and do your holiday shopping surrounded by the beauty of the Kalamazoo Nature Center.

10 am- 4 pm: Buy Local Art & Gift Fair
11am – 1 pm: “The Story of Snow” A new children’s book by local author/photographer Mark Cassino. Available at the KNC Expedition shop, Mark will be on hand to sign copies and discuss the book..
1-2:30 pm: PhotoBlitz reception
Join us as we congratulate the winners and enjoy viewing the work of all of the talented photographers who took up the challenge to capture that special image during our one-day PhotoBlitz contest.
