Butterfly Festival May 22, 2010

Explore the beautiful and fascinating world of butterflies and life cycles! Watch live Monarchs in the Museum's butterfly sanctuary and take an up close and personal look at how they travel through each stage of their life cycle. Use our microscopes to see what butterfly and moth wings are really made of, and metamorphose into a butterfly when you make wings of your own! Take a look at the life cycles of other animals, too. Top it off with a visit to the butterfly garden (weather permitting!).
