Butterflies of Houston and the Upper Texas Coast

Nancy Greig, director of the Cockrell Butterfly Center at the Houston Museum of Natural Science, will share the fascinating world of butterflies during this two-part class. Learn how butterflies complete their life cycle, obtain food, avoid predators and find mates, as well as why some species undertake arduous migrations. The class includes a Saturday field trip at the Arboretum to learn to identify some native butterfly species. Learn tips for attracting them to your garden.
