Butcher Boy
The very welcome return of Glasgow's Butcher Boy, whose critically acclaimed debut "Profit In Your Poetry" is a strong contender for album for the year. This gig comes hard on the heels of a month of free cafe shows in Glasgow and a new EP, "The Eighteenth Emergency". Expect heartstopping orchestral indie pop with echoes of Tindersticks, Felt and Love. "Regret, giro-funded couplets, sensual ambiguity – it’s all here, resurrecting a great British genre." - Uncut

Brontosaurus Chorus
How can you not adore a group called Brontosaurus Chorus? Featuring HDIF regular and Pop-Art mastermind Scooby Dom, t'Chorus have a host of instantly lovable songs - traces of B&S, Hidden Cameras, the runaway day-glo pop of Tullycraft, and the sense that here's a band that knows how to leave you smiling.

And What Will Be Left Of Them?
Blasting out of Worcester in the Midlands with whisky in their bellies and songs in their hearts, And What Will Be Left Of Them? are currently working on their debut album. They have extensively toured the UK (and bits of Europe) playing with a little charm and a lot of shambolic style. Following a run of single releases on the influential Filthy Little Angels label, the band's last release was 'Wet Week In July' from The Little Hellfire Club.
"The best proto-post-neo-punk-electro-poptart band ever" - Darkworld

Plans And Apologies
Plans & Apologies are a seven piece band from Derby who have been described as sounding like The Wedding Present, The Smiths, The Kinks, Pavement, Belle & Sebastian, Blur, Gang of Four, Captain Beefheart and the Super Furries. ""Playing gorgeous lo-fi pop one moment, then bashing out some mental riffage the next, these indie poppers are backed by a Stephen Malkmus-style lyrical charm" - NME
