Business of Being Green Film Festival November 20, 2010

Come enjoy a day of award-wining short films about what it means to be green. Eat some popcorn and view festival favorites, such as What’s on Your Plate?, What’s the Economy For, Anyway?, The Greening of Southie, among other films. Jeff McCarter, executive director of Chicago’s Free Spirit Media, will discuss the role, power and challenges of documentary filmmaking, as well as showcase several recent films created by Free Spirit Media students. Films appropriate for kids (12 and up) from 10am-12pm. Festival runs until 5pm.
