About The American Cancer Society:

The Brooklyn office provides free, expert help to more than 3,000 patients and families facing cancer each year, including support services and practical referrals(transportation, meals, specialty organizations and services, information about treatment choices, free wigs, free cancer screenings),and organizes awareness and fund raising programs to support these services and the national American Cancer Society research program.
