Tunxis Community College Foundation invites the public to “Business Etiquette and Its Impact on Your Bottom Line,” with Anna Post of The Emily Post Institute on October 6, 7:30-9 a.m. at Avon Old Farms Inn, Avon.
The breakfast talk will focus on effective business etiquette skills and how they can improve employee retention, productivity, and company profits.
Anna Post is the great-great-granddaughter of Emily Post, and an author and spokesperson for The Emily Post Institute. She is a popular presenter of Emily Post Business Etiquette Seminars, based on the content from “The Etiquette Advantage in Business,” by Peggy Post and Peter Post (Collins, 2005). A regular columnist for Reuters and a contributing blogger for The Huffington Post, Anna Post writes about etiquette in the 21st century, covering topics ranging from business etiquette and politics to pop culture and Internet civility. She is also a well-known media source who has been interviewed by The Wall Street Journal, Forbes.com, The New York Times, USA Today, Real Simple, and many others.
Proceeds from the fundraising breakfast will support student scholarships and special projects at Tunxis Community College, located in Farmington.
