DETAILS: Join the Corrales Historical Society Docents for a trip to Socorro, Magdalena and the Very Large Array. The trip will include a tour of Magdalena and have lunch there, a ranger-led tour at the Very Large Array and a tour of Socorro’s plaza and the University’s rock and gem museum. Charlie Sanchez, of Tome, will be our guide for the entire bus trip.
COST: $32 covers the bus, lunch, and any guide charges and tips.
DIRECTIONS TO OLD CHURCH: From the intersection of Alameda Rd (NM 528) and Corrales Rd. (NM 448), go north for 3 miles to Old Church Rd, turn left (west) and proceed 0.3 miles to the Old Church.
