Directed by Amy Berlin
In a roadside diner in a snowed in Kansas town, eight castaways spend a warm winter’s night in this American classic, which starred Marilyn Monroe in its legendary film adaptation. Cherie is a sweet saloon singer, pursued by Bo, a naive young rancher stud who fell hard for her at a cowboy bar back in Arizona. The hearty laughs and gentle drama of Bus Stop remind us why Pulitzer Prize-winner Inge once enjoyed his day as Broadway’s most popular playwright.
