Burlington Winter Farmers' Market January 16, 2010

A great place to shop for your Thanksgiving meal and support your local farmers, the market will be offering cheeses, eggs, wine, meats, maple syrup, honey, jams, pickles, and a variety of vegetables. This harvest season, farmers have been storing crops such as carrots, beets, potatoes, squash, onions, and garlic for sale at the market, while others are freezing produce such as corn, tomatoes, and strawberries.With a wide variety of hand-made, artisan crafts, the market will also be a great place to get an early start on holiday shopping while supporting the local economy and enjoying the festivities.
