Bunkers In Baghdad Charity Happy Hour January 30, 2009

Club W will host the first charity happy hour to benefit Bunkers in Baghdad, Inc. on Friday, January 30, 2008 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The happy hour will feature an open bar, food provided by Pete’s Greek Isles Express and raffles throughout the evening. Tickets are $20 – available in advance or at the door. Club W is located at 199 Delaware Avenue, just South of Chippewa.

Bunkers in Baghdad, Inc. is a Buffalo-based non-profit that collects and ships new and used golf balls, clubs and other equipment to soldiers serving in combat zones in Iraq and Afghanistan for recreational purposes. Bunkers also distributes golf equipment to injured veterans through the Wounded Warriors program at Walter Reed Army Medical Center to aid in their rehabilitation.
