Bulgarian State Opera: Aida January 23, 2007

Verdi's grandest opera, which includes the magnificent Triumphal Scene, has justifiably become a favorite since its 1871 premiere in Cairo. This story of a love triangle, based in Ancient Egypt, features some of Verdi's most passionate music. The show is presented in Italian with English supertitles.
