The momentum is building – take a day to catch the wave of inspiration and innovation that is Building Green here in Atlantic Canada. Whether you are a builder, designer, provide a product or service or perhaps a building owner or manager you will benefit from exploring how to make Atlantic Canada’s buildings greener and more sustainable.

Building Green, is a day long conference, trade show and networking event that will advance the design, construction, and operation of greener buildings here in Atlantic Canada.

Speakers include:

· John Kokko, lead consultant on the Drake Landing and Okatoks sustainable community project in Alberta – Canada’s first solar community.

· Sheila Brown of Jacques Whitford, renowned LEED faculty member and project team leader on several important LEED buildings including the Jean Canfield Gov’t of Canada Building in Charlottetown.

Joan MacArthur-Blair, president NSCC, will kick off the day by telling how NSCC is “walking the talk” in both its commitment to sustainable facilities and its education of the trades and technologies workers we need to fulfill our vision of sustainable development in Atlantic Canada

The trade show will feature green building materials, technologies and services available right here in Atlantic Canada.

At the end of the day join friends old and new for a wine and cheese reception and networking opportunity in the trade show area.
