Heart disease remains one of the leading causes of death in America despite tremendous medical advances in recent years. Renowned cardiovascular researcher Srivastava will provide an overview of how the heart develops and will outline the origins and treatment of heart disease. He'll discuss how stem cells evolve into heart muscle cells and how they offer exciting potential for damaged hearts.
