Build A Telescope Workshop Using Recycled Materials October 22, 2011

In this workshop, presented by Bob Carruthers, participants will work cooperatively to construct telescopes utilizing recycled materials. Telescopes will be used for astronomy and also nature study. A prototype is on display at the Ansonia Nature Center. A basic knowledge of hand tools is required of adult participants. On October 29th, there will be a sky viewing event at 7 pm at the Nature Center.
