This practical course focuses on enhancing skills and providing knowledge to understand and effectively use budgeting and forecasting in a variety of business, organisational and personal settings. Coverage will include the use of budgets as a strategic planning tool, as a means for evaluating performance and as a motivational technique. Participants will use Microsoft Excel to create their own personal or organisational budget including a variance analysis report. The use of Excel to perform sensitivity analysis and highlight budget variances will be covered in detail.
