President Barack Obama and Governor Bev Perdue have talked about transparency, accountability, and responsibility in their budget proposals. JLF fiscal policy analyst Joe Coletti has drafted his own budget proposal for state government and is part of the Locke Foundation’s transparency effort. Joe will compare his budget proposal with the governor’s and the importance of transparency for citizens, managers, and elected officials.
