Meditation Classes
Sunday Afternoons, from 1pm ? 2:30pm
Through this series students will learn the benefits of Buddhist meditation and understand how by increasing their mental peace they can solve all their problems and live happier lives.
Each class will introduce the student to a special breathing meditation used for calming the mind, reducing stress and improving concentration. Students will practice the meditations in class and learn practical methods for maintaining a daily meditation practice.
Theses classes are suitable for all. Special emphasis will be placed on engaging in mediation to develop a peaceful and kind heart.

In this class, students will become acquainted with the physical and mental benefits of meditation. They will gain insight into the breath meditation and learn to use this technique to increase mental clarity.
Through regular practice of the breath meditation, they will be able to reduce stress and control mental busyness.
We will conclude this class with a special meditation for Sept. 11 dedicated to world peace.
