Saturday, May 19
• 3:30pm: Annual Public Forum: Mindfulness in the Workplace with Frank Anderson, Jacki Dilley and Joya D’Cruz.
• 6pm: Vegetarian Buffet Extraordinaire and Sangha Talent Show. First a bounteous and delicious buffet feast, then entertainment provided by the multi-talented and ever amazing members of the Sangha. Cost for the entire evening is $30/families or $12/adult, $6 students and children.
Sunday, May 20
• 9:30am: Meditation
• 10am: Buddha’s Birthday Religious Service. A contemplation of human life, with a simultaneous Children’s Service including Bathing the Baby Buddha.
• 11:30am: Blessing of Children. By appointment, $10 donation suggested.
• 1pm: Introduction to Meditation: Talk and Demonstration. All are welcome, $5 donation suggested.
• 7:30pm: Lotus Lantern Lighting and Chanting Service. The lighting of beautiful flower lanterns, a unique Korean tradition, ends the Buddha’s Birthday observance in a serene and lovely way. The service includes readings from scriptures and the dedication of the lotus lanterns.
