Bryin Dall has been in many musical projects over the years, including 4th Sign of the Apocalypse, Dream Into Dust, A Murder Of Angels, and Loretta's Doll, but he's been best known so far as a key member of Thee Majesty. This may begin to change as his eponymous project finally comes to light.
What began as a one-off cover of "May You Never Be Alone Like Me" expanded into a country music covers project, but the songs of Hank Williams just kept resonating stronger. Derek Rush (Dream Into Dust), drafted in to play acoustic guitar, insisted on translating the music into minor keys, while Dall added what he calls "a sort-of Jesus and Mary Chain-type feedback guitar". The project's Myspace Page has exploded in popularity since its creation less than two months ago, due mostly to Dall's deep, ragged, heartfelt vocals and the pair's commitment to matching the spirit of the original lyrics with the starkest music they can muster.
