Canadian singer-songwriter Bruce Cockburn has been combining literate, poetic songwriting, gruff, heartfelt singing, and viruosic guitar-playing for over 40 years. He returns to New York on June 18th as part of a double-bill with jazz singer Madeleine Peyroux and will be promoting his recently released solo live album, Slice of Life. The album, a career-spanning retrospective, includes old favorites `Lovers in a Dangerous Time`, `If I Had a Rocket Launcher`, and `Wondering Where the Lions Are`.
