Northern Virginia’s premier storytelling troupe, Better Said Than Done, is putting on a story filled fundraiser for Friends of Reston for Community Projects. “Brrr…It's cold outside – stories of winter nights, ice queens, and finding warmth” will be performed at the Walker Nature Education Center in Reston, VA on February 9, 2013. There are 2 shows, one starting at 7:00PM and the encore show at 9:00PM. All proceeds benefit Friends of Reston and support their mission of community improvement and nature education.
The storytelling event will feature entertaining performances of true stories about looking for warmth in a cold, cold world. Storytellers include: Mike Baireuther, Geraldine Buckley, Derek Hills, Kim Ruff, Mel Pine, and Jessica Piscitelli.
Refreshments are available for purchase.  Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis.  The show is intended for an adult audience.  For additional information or to see videos of past shows, visit the Better Said Than Done website at
