The Las Cruces Railroad Museum will host a lecture on Tuesday, April 12, at noon. Dr. Terry Reynolds will present “Amador Freighting: Before and After the Railroad”. The Amador Family was very influential in the early development of Las Cruces. Dr. Reynolds oversaw the extensive collection of Amador family documents and artifacts while she was curator of the NMSU Museum. She has extensively researched the Mesilla Valley’s history for over 30 years and is currently writing a book about Don José Martín Amador.
