The Las Cruces Railroad Museum is hosting a lecture series at noon on the 2nd Tuesday of each month. This series continues on Tuesday, March 9 with "The Transcontinental Railroad System and How it Influenced our Southwest", presented by Prince McKenzie. McKenzie is the founder and curator of the Railroad and Transportation Museum of El Paso.

2010 marks the 100th year of our Santa Fe Railroad Depot. To honor this momentous occasion we have invited 11 speakers to present 100 Years Ago: A Cross Cultural Look at Life in 1910 Southern New Mexico. Light refreshments will be served. The lecture series is a designated We the People project by the New Mexico Humanities Council.
