Brown Bag Lecture: How the Harvey Girls Civilized the West April 13, 2010

The Las Cruces Railroad Museum is hosting a lecture series at noon on the 2nd Tuesday of each month. This series continues on Tuesday, April 13 with How the Harvey Girls Civilized the West. This will be presented by Carolyn Buchanan, Chair of Harvey Girls of the El Paso Union Station.
2010 marks the 100th year of our Santa Fe Railroad Depot. To honor this momentous occasion we have invited 11 speakers to present 100 Years Ago: A Cross Cultural Look at Life in 1910 Southern New Mexico. The lecture series is a designated We the People project by the New Mexico Humanities Council. Light refreshments will be served. Reservations are appreciated by calling 647-4480.
